Connect an AI assistant to Medicexum

Link ChatGPT, Claude or another AI assistant to this app so it can look things up here for you, such as browsing the latest published insights.

Server address

You will be asked to sign in to Medicexum the first time you connect.

Connect your assistant

ChatGPT

  1. Open Settings → Apps (Advanced) and turn on Developer mode (read the risk notice shown there). If it isn’t available, ask a ChatGPT admin to enable it.
  2. Open the new plugin dialog.
  3. Enter Medicexum as the name and paste the server address above into the URL field.
  4. Review the details, tick “I understand and want to continue” (ChatGPT shows this for every custom server), then click Create.
  5. Enable Medicexum from the chat composer, then ask ChatGPT to use it.

Claude

  1. Open the add custom connector dialog — the name and address are filled in for you.
  2. Review the details and click Add.
  3. If the form doesn’t open pre-filled, go to Claude’s Connectors page, choose “Add custom connector”, name it Medicexum and paste the server address above.
  4. Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude to use it.

Claude Code

Run this once in a terminal:

claude mcp add --scope user --transport http medicexum 'https://www.medicexum.com/mcp'
  1. Start Claude Code and run /mcp to confirm Medicexum is connected, signing in if prompted.
  2. Ask Claude Code to use Medicexum.

Other AI assistants

  1. Open the assistant’s connector or server settings.
  2. Create a new remote connection.
  3. Name it Medicexum and paste the server address above.
  4. Complete any sign-in or authorisation prompts.
  5. Enable the connection, then ask the assistant to use Medicexum.

Refresh after we update the app

Assistants remember what Medicexum could do when you first connected. After we ship changes, refresh the connection to pick up the latest.

ChatGPT

  1. Open the Plugins page and select Medicexum.
  2. Scroll to “Information” and click Refresh.
  3. ChatGPT can’t change an existing address — if it changed, delete the app and connect again with the latest one.
  4. Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use Medicexum.

Claude

  1. Open the Connectors page and select Medicexum.
  2. Refresh or update the connector.
  3. Claude can’t change an existing address — if it changed, remove the connector and add it again with the latest one.
  4. Ask Claude to use Medicexum.

Claude Code

  1. Start a new Claude Code session — it reconnects automatically.
  2. If the address changed, run claude mcp remove medicexum and run the install command again.
  3. Ask Claude Code to use Medicexum.

Other AI assistants

  1. Open the assistant’s connector or server settings.
  2. Select the connection you created for Medicexum.
  3. Refresh the tools, reload the server or reconnect it.
  4. If the address changed, paste the latest one from above.
  5. Start a new chat and ask the assistant to use Medicexum.
